For Kylie

Many times in our lives, people come and somehow they make or leave something special in your life. Sometimes you can’t see it, but you feel it. You can feel it with all your entire being. And the feeling is so strong that if that person leaves, it’s like a part of you goes. Then there’s a lump in your throat that makes it hard to breathe because you know that it’s going to be hard living without that person. But of course it’s going to be hard. If it wasn't how else would our hearts become strong?

But she leaves something special for us. Whether it’s a sweet memory or kind smile. We still have that and when I stop to think about all the opportunities she’s not going to experience, I crumble up and cry. She still leaves memories for us. For each and every one of us.

I've learned something though from this. And I quote from a very young author, who also didn't have a chance, "I still believe in spite of everything that people are really good at heart." - Anne Frank

I think this means that even though peoples’ acts and words aren't always kind; we’re all just a big team trying to fight against something. And that's what we did. We worked together and did something special for a little girl. We celebrated life, and I like to think before it was Kylie's time, that’s what she had.

I'll always remember you, Kylie.
